Our Impact as an Educational Platform For Web3 ProfessionalsÂ
EkoLance boasts 5000+ trained Web3 professionals, a talent pool of over 6000 professionals, a community of over 8000, and about 50,000 blockchain professionals reached through our partners all over the globe. With our developer activation platform called techFiesta, companies have been able to launch over 13 developer events with top blockchain companies, 106+ projects have been built and over $120K has been paid in bounties.Â

1. Concorduim Developer Challenge
The recently concluded Concorduim Developer Challenges on techFiesta took place from November 22nd to December 4th, 2023. It marked a milestone in the adoption and development of secure and efficient smart contracts on the Concordium platform.
This challenge attracted 51 skilled participants ready to dive into the world of blockchain and smart contract development. Before the challenge began, the Concordium team conducted an intensive developer training program focused on Rust programming language and the nuances of developing smart contracts on Concordium.

2. Aleph Zero Hackathon
The concluded Aleph Zero hackathon on techFiesta started on the 27th of November and ended on the 15th of December 2023. With over 20 participants competing for a bounty prize of $3500. This hackathon was a beacon for creators seeking to solve real-world challenges and redefine the development landscape within the Aleph Zero ecosystem.Â
Aleph Zero, a privacy-enhancing layer 1 blockchain, offered a developer workshop on techFiesta for participants to prepare for the hackathon. This training provided participants with guidance and mentorship through a couple of events before the actual hackathon began.
The task for this hackathon fell into three categories: DeFi, ZK, and Tooling/Infrastructure to create developer/infrastructure tooling for the Aleph Zero Ecosystem. Aside from the bounty prize of $3500, hackers get access to grants of up to $500k.
Recap of 2023: Year of Growth
We witnessed a year of remarkable growth in 2023. It marked an expansion in our offerings, with the launch of techFiesta in July 2023. With numerous accomplishments, including securing a grant from Concordium, training over 5,000 professionals in Web3 expertise through a diverse range of 100+ training sessions and seminars, and expanding our talent pool to over 6,000 skilled individuals. This growth was complemented by an engaged community, boasting over 8,000 members and reaching out to over 50,000 blockchain professionals. We hosted more than 13 techFiestas with leading blockchain companies, producing 106 innovative projects, and welcoming 5,000+ hackers, culminating in a rewarding distribution of $120K in bounties.
As 2024 beckons, we are poised to unveil a series of sought-after training courses, significantly enhancing the scope of our blockchain education offerings. Our approach is strategically aligned to foster a robust learning environment in the blockchain space. Impact Report for 2023
In 2023, EkoLance championed a mission of empowerment and inclusivity across emerging countries, leaving a profound impact on thousands. Through a series of training programs and seminars, 5,781 individuals actively participated in 106 immersive sessions tailored to enhance their skill sets within the dynamic Web3 sector. This concerted effort culminated in the elevation of 838 professionals into gainful employment, showing the efficacy of EkoLance's training initiatives.
Astonishingly, 54.86% of participants attributed their career advancements directly to these programs, underscoring their pivotal role in fostering career development. Notably, those who secured positions following EkoLance training experienced an average income surge of 39.45%, attesting to the transformative nature of these educational endeavours.
In a laudable stride toward gender inclusivity, EkoLance's impact extended to uplift 1,600+ women through educational initiatives throughout the year. This concerted focus yielded a commendable outcome, with women constituting 28.25% of the vibrant new community members welcomed into EkoLance. This emphasis on diversity and inclusion marks a significant step towards bridging gender gaps within the blockchain space, fostering an environment that champions equal opportunities for all. EkoLance's multifaceted approach in 2023 not only transformed individual lives but also cemented its commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and thriving Web3 ecosystem.
Outlook for 2024
We're thrilled to announce an exciting evolution at techFiesta! Up until now, our platform has been a hub for hackathons and developer challenges within the blockchain space. However, starting in 2024, we're expanding our horizons to welcome a diverse array of job opportunities and challenges across various sectors with more blockchain companies. This expansion means a world of new possibilities for participants, extending beyond traditional developer challenges and hackathons.
The upcoming changes pave the way for non-tech talents to engage with techFiesta. We're broadening our collaborations to include exchanges, infrastructure, marketing, and data analysis companies. This means that everyone, regardless of their technical background, will have access to an extensive range of job opportunities on techFiesta. Plus, all participants will have the convenience of receiving payments in stablecoins, ensuring a seamless and secure transaction experience. Stay tuned for the unveiling of these exciting opportunities.
We are expanding our offerings beyond our regular workshops, mentorship programs, training, and community calls. Firstly, we're introducing concise and focused workshops, led by seasoned blockchain professionals. These 2 hours workshops will delve into specific skills, providing participants with the opportunity to learn from the best in the field.
Additionally, we're launching an email course program designed to accommodate those with limited time availability. The program will span through 1-2 weeks and welcome new mentors. It will offer an alternative pathway for professionals to engage and learn at their own pace. Stay tuned for these exciting new learning opportunities!

The EkoLance Q4 Mentorship Program for all blockchain professionals ended successfully. This program was designed to provide guidance and support to those who want to improve their skills and knowledge in the blockchain industry.
